Cashbee is a mobile application software ("App") that can be downloaded to your mobile phone or any handheld device (Device) on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store ("App"). This policy summarizes what personal information we may collect, how we use this set of information, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your privacy and data protection rights. It is Cashbee's policy to comply with all applicable Philippine privacy and data protection laws. This commitment reflects our value in earning and keeping the trust of our clients, business development stakeholders or partners, and others who share personal information with us. This Policy applies to all Internet sites and mobile applications operated by or on behalf of Cashbee, including other global entities affiliated with Cashbee.
It also applies to personal information that Cashbee may collect in other ways: (i) through our products and services; (ii) when you interact with us by means other than the Cashbee website or application, that is, in person, over the phone or through other means of telecommunications; and (iii) from our employees, collectors, third-party investigators and other business partners (collectively referred to as "Business Partners").
To the extent required by applicable law, whenever Cashbee collects personal information, Cashbee will:
This Policy Policy constitutes an inseparable part of Cashbee Credit Agreement.
Cashbee collects the following types of personal information:
(i) Contact information such as your name, company name, job title, address, e-mail address, and phone number;
(ii) Additional information about you to help us get to know you better such as your gender, age, date of birth, nationality, professional associations and registration number, information about how you use our products, and demographic information;
(iii) Financial information needed to process loans and payments, such as credit card or account information, or other banking information;
(iv) Log-in information, including the following:
(v) Your selected phone contacts in your device needed for collection purposes will be requested to be manually selected and marked as your backup and emergency contacts, if in case the information provided in the credit agreement is false, invalid, or otherwise not responsive to our collection attempts; and
(vi) Number of contacts in your device will be used for credit evaluation purposes only and
(vii) Comments, questions, requests, and orders you may make.
It is understood that when you have submitted your information to Cashbee, you are expressly consenting to the collection and processing of such information for whichever purpose it may serve under the Agreement.
Cashbee may collect technical information about your device, such as device type, browser type, IP address, operating system, and device identifier. Cashbee will automatically collect this information from your device and web browser through cookies and similar technologies subject to your consent.
Information about how you interact with us
Cashbee may collect location information, including precise real-time location information from your device and inaccurate location information such as your IP address. Cashbee App will not access accurate real-time location information from your device unless you grant permission to do so. Cashbee’s access to location is for the protection of Cashbee, since our services are only rendered for those who are located in the Philippines. Cashbee's location access is limited for the purpose of granting loan applications and other allied services, if applicable.
Information from Business Partners and other Third Parties
Cashbee may collect personal information through our Business Partners. This information may include contact information such as name, company name, job title, address, email address, and phone number for verification and validation purposes.
Cashbee may also obtain personal information from other third-party sources, including public and commercially available sources. As mentioned above, we may combine the information we receive from Business Partners and other third-party sources with the information we collect from you or your device.
Develop and manage our relationships with you and our Business Partners. This may include:
(i) Delivering services or carrying out transactions that you or our Business Partners have requested;
(ii) Providing information about Cashbee products, services, transactions, and advertisements, that may be of interest to you;
(iii) Providing you and our Business Partners a more consistent experience in interacting with Cashbee, including by learning more about you and how you use and interact with Cashbee Internet Sites, Apps, products, and services; and
(iv) Planning, managing, and performing under our contractual relationships with our Business Partners.
Communicate with you
(i) Informing you of Cashbee products, services, and promotional activities that may be of interest to you;
(ii) Providing information about relevant Cashbee products, services, and transactions, including, for example, pricing, information about product or service improvements;
(iii) Responding to questions or inquiries that you make, including customer service requests; and
(iv) Inviting you to participate in, or informing you of the results of, customer satisfaction or market research surveys.
Provide and improve our Internet Sites, Apps, products, and services:
(i) Customizing them to your preferences or interests, making them more compatible with your technology, or otherwise making them easier to use;
(ii) Maintaining the security of and otherwise protecting them; and
(iii) Developing new Cashbee Internet Sites, Apps, products and services.
Address legal issues
(i) Complying with our obligations to retain certain business records for minimum retention periods;
(ii) Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims;
(iii) Complying with laws, regulations, court orders, or other legal processes;
(iv) Detecting, preventing and responding to fraud, intellectual property infringement, violation of our contracts or agreements, violations of law, or other misuses of Cashbee Internet Sites, Apps, products or services; and
(v) Protecting Cashbee’s rights or property, or yours or others’ health, safety, welfare, rights, or property.
Cashbee may also use your personal information for other purposes consistent with the context in which the information was collected or with your consent. Cashbee may anonymize or aggregate any of the information we collect and use it for any purpose, including for research and product-development purposes. Such information will not identify you individually.
Cashbee may share your personal information with third parties hired by us to perform support services for us, such as but not limited to collection services, background investigation, and skip tracking among others.
These third parties are required to use the personal information we share with them, only to perform services on our behalf, and to treat your personal information in compliance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.
In some cases, Cashbee may share your personal information with third parties who partner with us to provide products and services to our customers. If so, we will require our Business Partners to use that information in a manner that complies with this policy, any applicable Specific Privacy Statements, and all applicable privacy and data protection laws.
Cashbee may share your personal information with third parties when we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary:
(i) To comply with a law, regulation, court order, or other legal processes;
(ii) To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, intellectual property infringement, violation of our contracts or agreements, violation of law, or other misuses of Cashbee Internet Sites, Apps, products or services;
(iii) To protect Cashbee rights or property or yours or others’ health, safety, welfare, rights, or property; or
(iv) Under similar circumstances. If such an event occurs, we will take appropriate steps to protect your personal information.
Cashbee may share your personal information with third parties related to the sale, purchase, merger, reorganization, liquidation or dissolution of Cashbee or Cashbee's business units, or under similar circumstances. If such incidents occur, we will take appropriate measures to protect your personal information. Cashbee may share your information with your permission or at your request. Cashbee may share anonymized or aggregated information internally and with third parties for any purpose. Such information will not identify you personally.
Your personal information will generally be stored in the Cashbee database maintained by our service provider. Many of these databases are stored on servers located in the Philippines. Cashbee takes appropriate measures through contracts or other means to provide adequate protection for personal information disclosed to third parties or transferred to another country/region, including transfers within Cashbee. Cashbee maintains reasonable safeguards to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your personal information. Although we use security measures to help protect your personal information against unauthorized disclosure, misuse, or alteration, just like all computer networks connected to the Internet, we cannot guarantee the security of information provided over the Internet and will not be responsible for breaches of security beyond our reasonable control.
Cashbee shall not be held accountable or legally liable for any data leakage, abuse, disclosure or illegal sharing caused by its users' faults in protecting and securing their username and password or some other form of negligence.

Right to be informed
You should be informed of Cashbee’s process in collecting, usage, sharing and gathering of your information and your rights as a data subject.
Right to access
A copy of your personal data may be requested and how your data are being processed unless gathering this information may affect the rights and freedoms of others or applicable law requires that we do not adhere to your request.
Right to rectification
A request to correct information which you believe is inaccurate can be done. An update of this request shall be sent to you if proper actions have been executed. Regarding this request, we will require you to submit supporting documents or details to show authenticity of the said changes.
Right to erasure or blocking
Personal data can be asked to be erased if you think that this information is no longer of use for our company; if you doubt our processors of your data; if these data of yours are being used unlawfully and/or certain laws require you to do so.
Right to data portability
You as a client should have the right to know the movement, copy or transfer of your data with proper security features.
Right to damages
As a data subject, if anything has happened to you regarding data privacy you have the right to collect proper compensation regarding the damages that you suffered or if there is any violation of your rights and freedom.
Right to file a complaint
If there is any damage or violation of your rights and freedom regarding data privacy, you have the right to file a complaint to the National Privacy Commission.
Following purposes are:
(i) If the information is necessary to comply with any legal obligation;
(ii) If authorized by law; and
(iii) For the company’s legal defences.
If information is no longer needed, the collected data shall be deleted or anonymized except as necessary to comply with legal obligations.
